Daniel David Bortz Jr., age 69 of Midwest City. Died September 1. He was born January 21, 1914 in Philadelphia, PA. He has lived in MWC since 1946. He was an Army veteran of WWII and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of VFW Post 1857. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base for 11 years as a jet inspector. He retired from Will Rogers in 1963, totalling 33 1 1/4 years of service for the Federal government. He was a member of St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife , Dorothy of the home; 3 sons, Daniel David III of Midwest City, Donald Gene of Midwest City, Nicklas W. of the home; 4 grandchildren. Rosary Sunday at 6:00 at Capitol Hill Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday, September 6, 10:00, Chapel of the Chimes, with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens.

Dorothy J. Bortz, 69, of OKC, died Fri. She was born Aug. 17, 1925 in Alex, Ok. Dorothy was a homemaker and mother.

She is survived by 3 sons, Daniel D. Bortz , III of MWC, Donald J. Bortz of MWC, Nicklas Bortz of MWC; grandchildren, Cindy Bortz , Cecilia Bortz , John B. Bortz , Daniel D. Bortz , IV; great grandson, Daniel David Bortz , V; 3 sisters, 2 brothers; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel.

Services 10:30 a.m. Monday, St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
