Jozef Chowaniec,Midwest City, OK was born May 31, 1927 in Krakow, Poland. He passed away Dec. 17, 1993 in Harrah, Ok. "Joe" migrated from Poland in 1952. He was later employed by NTL CYL Gas. In 1959, he met and married Anna Duggins. To this union 3 children were born. Joe and Anna were later divorced. He was employed by the OKC Public Schools from which he retired.

He is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter, Michael Joe Chowaniec, Midwest City, OK Nicoma Park, Judy Ann Barrett, OKC and Jerry Wayne Chowaniec, Midwest City, OK Sallisaw, Ok. His family and friends will miss him. Graveside services are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1993 at Kolb Cemetery.
