Peggy Jo Ferrer, 79, departed to be with her Lord March 10, 2011. She was born to Jack and Georgia Riat on December 22, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK. She attended St Paul Apostle Catholic Church in Del City. She was a proud 1949 graduate of Classen High. She retired as a payroll clerk from TAFB in 1975. Peggy's family and friends came first and foremost. An avid reader, other hobbies included traveling, cross-stitching, and word puzzles. She loved cheering for her OSU Cowboys. Anyone who came in touch with "PJ" truly feels blessed.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Milton and Georgia Belle Riat.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Miguel Ferrer ; and daughters, Marsie Grisham and her husband David, Valerie Walton and Rita Ferrer . She is also survived by grandchildren, Kelli and her husband DJ Harris, Brianne and Michael Grisham, and Tara and Braden Walton.

Funeral services will be held in the Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peggy's name to Alzheimer's Association.
