Katherine Sue "Kat" Harber-Smith, age 37, of OKC, died April 13, 1997. She was born June 30, 1959 in Billings, Mt. She lived in OKC for the past 31 years. Katherine was a member, Sunday School teacher and Elder at the Church of the Savior.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Fae and Fred White, and paternal grandmother, Ruby Harber. She is survived by her dad and mom, George Jr. and Wenoa Harber; a brother, Jerry Harber, all of OKC, paternal grandfather, George P. Harber; uncle and aunt, Jack and Freda Harber, all of Kinsport, Tn; 2 great aunts, Lois Didlake of Meeker, Ok. and Blanche Didlake of Ponca City, Ok. Kat had a gift for growing plants and landscaping, and made this her life's work.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kat Smith Memorial Fund at Church of the Savior. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at Church of the Savior with burial to follow at Kolb Cemetery.
