W. G. "Gail" Springer, 67, of Midwest City, passed away Thurs., April 6,
2000. He was born Nov. 5, 1932 in Paden, OK to William Clay and Ella Mae
(Collins) Springer . Gail was a Deacon at Sooner Road Church of Christ.
He served in the U.S. Army 1953-1955 in the Korean Conflict, receiving
Korean serv. medal, United Nations serv. medal and Good Conduct medal.
He was a retired B52 Flight Test Navigator of 37 years at Tinker AFB. He
was an avid fisherman and mechanic. His was a life of service toothers
and the Lord.
Survived by wife, Martha Faye, of the home; 2 sons, Tony Springer & wife
Wilma, Midwest City and Justin Springer & wife Karen, Pearland, TX; 1
daughter, Rhonda Clark & husband Joe, Sayre, OK; grandchildren, Rusty &
Lorie Springer,Charissa Springer, Nathan Springer, Jacob Springer and
Dandi Clark; 1 great-granddaughter, Kaylee Warrior; 2 brothers, Clayton
Springer, Del City and
Elgin Springer, Midwest City; 2 sisters, Irene Springer, Broken
Arrow, OK and Joan Hen thorn, Midwest City; numerous nieces, nephews and
church family and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, 1
sister, Louise Fisher, and grandson, Dane Clark.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Sat., April 8, 2000 at Bill Eisenhour
Southeast Chapel with burial at
Sunny Lane Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Fri., April 7, 2000 at the Funeral
Home.
