Robert K. "Bob" Bean, age
73, of Midwest City, passed away Tues., Jan. 23,
2001. Born on Nov. 25, 1927, in Bearden, OK, to
Oscar & Oma (Norris) Bean. He graduated from MWC
High School in 1945 & attended Univ. of OK after
serving in the Army Air Corps during the Occupation
of Japan.
He married Maxine Allen, on
Oct. 19, 1951, in MWC. Bob was member of the
TriState Golf Assoc., president of the Sr. Golf
Assoc. at John Conrad , & past president of MWC
Alumni. He loved to watch his grandkids activities &
sports. He was an avid OU fan & sports enthusiast.
Bob is survived by the
lights of his life, wife, Maxine of the home; two
children, Danny Bean, MWC & Terrie Hubbard &
husband, Andy, Edmond; grandchildren, Lindsey,
Tanner, Bo, Victoria, whom their PaPa loved very
much; brother, Bill Bean, Aztec, NM; sister, Marie
Comeaux, Andrews, TX; & many nieces, nephews &
friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Velma
& his parents. He was a special & wonderful husband,
Dad & PaPa.
Services will be 11:00
a.m., Fri., Jan. 26, at First Presbyterian Church of
MWC with burial in
Arlington Memory Gardens.

Mary Maxine Bean, our
beautiful and loving mother, left us August 10, 2010
due to complications of a stroke. She was born
August 31, 1930 to the late W.F. and Arlene Allen in
Fox, OK. She grew up in a loving home with 4 sisters
and a brother. She married Robert K “Bob” Bean on
October 19, 1951. They were happily married for 49
years until his death in January 2001. Maxine was
devoted to her family, sewing, cooking for family
and neighbors, and shopping. She and her husband had
a passion for OU football and watching golf
tournaments. She is survived by her son, Danny Bean;
her daughter, Terrie and son-in-law W. Andrew
Hubbard, MD; her brother, Jim Allen and wife Sharon;
her sister, Pat Allen; her sister, Kay Tomlinson and
her husband Dewayne; her grandchildren: Tanner Bean,
Bo Daniel Bean, Lindsey Newcomb and husband Kyle,
and Victoria Hubbard. She was predeceased by her
sisters: Helen Premo, Betty Allen and Billie Avery.
She loved her many nieces and nephews and her puppy,
Maggie. Services will be conducted by Ford Funeral
Service at 10am, Friday, in the Candlewood Chapel at
Ford Funeral Service.
