City Woman Stricken In Parked Car Dies

Dora Cook, 54, of Community Camp, died Monday in her automobile parked in the unit block W Reno after suffering a heart attack.

Mrs. Zella Cook, 38, said she left her mother-in-law sitting in the automobile while she went ot (sic) get a watch repaired. She said when she returned Mrs. Cook was unconscious and gasping for breath. A fire department pulmotor squad was unable to revive her. Mrs. Cook's body was removed to the Hunter funeral home.

Services will be in the Elm Grove Holiness church at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday for Mrs. Dora Cook, Community Camp, who died of an attack of heart disease suffered while she was sitting in an automobile parked in the unit block W Reno Monday. Burial will be in Sunny Lane cemetery, under the direction of the Hunter funeral home.
