Marion 'Jack' Cross

 
 DEL CITY -- Services for Marion "Jack" Cross , 78, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will be at Sunny Lane Cemetery.

Cross was born Oct. 15, 1922, at Brock to Marion F. and Mahota Michael Cross . He died July 22, 2001.

He served with the Army during World War II in the European Theater and later in Korea. He moved to the Del City area in 1968 and was a retired truck driver for Trans Con.

Survivors include his wife, Theopa; a daughter, Phyllis Bennatt, College Station, Texas; brothers and sisters, Catherine Bradshaw, Waco, Texas, Bob and Billy, Ardmore, Frank, Dallas, Eugene, Eureka, Mont., and Lenora Markward, Dallas; and a grandson.

DEL CITY -- Graveside services for Springer native Theopa C. Cross , 79, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City.

Born Dec. 24, 1923, in Springer, she died April 12, 2003.

She worked for Southwestern Bell for more than 30 years and was a member of Sunny Lane United Methodist Church and Telephone Pioneers of America.

Theopa loved her church work.

She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Bennatt, Wimberley, Texas; a grandson, Rhett Bennatt, Austin, Texas; a brother, Kenneth Terry, Bakersfield, Calif.; close nieces, Glenda Garcia and Brenda Hammons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents; and three sisters, Virginia Landrum, Imogene Pelton and Frances Beard.

Eisenhour Funeral Homes Inc. will direct services.
