Jack Thomas Dorman, 71, died March 20, 1998 at his ranch near Jones. A lifelong resident of Jones, Mr. Dorman owned and operated a Chevrolet dealership in town for almost 40 years. After retirement, he devoted himself full time to raising cattle on his Grove Dale Ranch, and recently he was active as chair of the Oklahoma County Conservation District. He was a past and present member of the Jones Masonic Lodge, the India Temple Shrine, the Royal Order of Jesters, the Oklahoma County Cattle Producers Association, Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, and the First Christian Church of Jones. Over the years, he and his wife Sybil travelled extensively throughout the world.

His survivors include his wife, Sybil; his mother, __?__s may be made in lieu of flowers to the Children's Hospital Transportation Fund, India Temple, 3601 N.W. 36th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.
