Late Judge's Wife Is Dead; Rites Tuesday
Mrs. James S. {Bertha) Armstrong. S3, of 309 NW 16, died Sunday
a1 her home. She was the widow of Judge James R. Armstrong, a
prominent political figure in Oklahoma City many years.
Services will be at 3:30 pm Tuesday in Louise Prichard Chapel,
First Baptist Church with burial in
Fairlawn Cemetery.
Smith & Kernke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Armstrong, a native of Cuthbert. Ga.. had lived in Oklahoma
City 52 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and
United Daughters of Confederacy. She was the first president of
Oklahoma Hospitality Club and a past state president of Confederate
Memorial Association.
Surviving are two sons, William Jeff, of
the home, and J. Jasper, 0319 NW 42.
