Lena Arvella Jacobs (MeeMaws), 77, flew to her heavenly home on February 8, 2009. Arvella was born December 9, 1931 in Cove, Arkansas to Minet Carroll and Lena E. (Jones) Hill. Arvella was a very loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids. She was an excellent cook, and enjoyed reading her bible.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald David; sister Dell Little.

Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Don R. Jacobs ; children, Joanna Kearnes and husband Jerry, Michael Don Jacobs and wife Deanna, LaDonna D. Barton and husband Michael; grandchildren, James, Danny, Justin, Nathan, David, Jenna, Mike, Danny; great-grandchildren, Jacksen, Mikey, Alyssa, Mason, Connor; and sister, Faye Echols and husband Bill. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel.

Interment will follow at Jones I.O.O.F Cemetery.
