Ruth R. Karns died Dec. 9, 1982 at the age of 79. She was born in Indian Territory Okla., moved to Okla. City in 1920. She graduated from Hills Business College, belonged to SiloamChapter of Eastern Star, was a member of Assembly of God Church of Jones Okla.

Survived by a son W. Clyde Karns, daughters, Elizabeth Kelley, Norma Landers, Joann Brown and Linda Posey, 14 grand children and 16 great-grandchildren. Services 2 pm Saturday, Smith and Kernke Chapel, Interment IOOF Cemetery , Jones Okla.
