Jane Pendley

Jane Pendley, was born in Cement, Oklahoma, to Andrew and Eluteria
Deleza, on June 24,1924, the eldest of 6 children. She passed away on
January 11, 2007, the day of her 57th Wedding Anniversary to Dwight.
She graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City. After
graduating, she worked at Will Rogers Field during the War. There she
learned to fly at the age of 18 (before knowing how to drive a car).
Later on she worked at the Oklahoma City Court House. Her last job was
working at the Nicoma Park Police Station as a Court Clerk (where she
was respected by all police officers as well as a very young police
officer, "John Wetzel"). She loved working in her garden, taking care of
her birds and supporting her OU Sooner Football team.
She is survived by husband, Dwight, son, Clay, and daughter, Lisa &
Cary Hiltgen; brothers, Thomas and Alfred Deleza; sister, Isabel
Stephenson; and grandchildren, Brock, Cheron and Barron Pendley . Carly
and Alex Hiltgen; daughter-in-law, Marlene Pendley . She was preceded in
death by baby daughter, Claudia, parents, Andrew and Eluteria, brothers,
Willie and Tony, and nephew, David Deleza.
Services will be at Baggerley Funeral Home, 13313 N. Kelley Ave., OKC,
Wednesday, at 2pm.
