Max Pickle, 69 of Luther OK, died Thursday at Edmond Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11:30 am Saturday at the First Christian Church, Luther, with burial in the Jones IOOF Cemetery.

Born Jan. 12, 1914 in OKC, moved from Pawhuska to Luther in 1940. Was a retired farmer and an honorary member of the Luther Jaycee's.

Survivors include his wife, Grace of the home; 2 daughters, Carolyn Lawson and Maxine Cornish, both of Luther; 2 sons, Max W. Jr. of Harrah, and Danny Ray of Luther; 7 sisters, Donaois Habben of Perry, Lois Atwood of OKC, Ethel Rector and Josephine Rector, both of Luther, Billie Noe of OKC, and Melba Hill of Wellston, Norma Varnum of Harrah; 1 brother, William of San Antonio TX; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Directed by Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond.

Grace Neoma Bryan Pickle, was born Oct. 23, 1916 in Leach, Oklahoma and departed this life on July 31, 1998 in Midwest City, Okla. at the age of 81. She was one of 5 children born to Ben and Phoebe Bryan. Grace married Max Pickle on April 30, 1938. From this union they were blessed with 4 children, Max Walter, Carolyn Louise, Maxine Neoma and Danny Ray.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Max, both parents, 2 sisters, Stella Newman and Audey Byington.

Grace is survived by her 4 children and their spouses, Max and Maggie Pickle of Harrah, Carolyn and Jerry Lawson of Luther, Maxine and Jerry Cornish of Edmond and Danny and Steva Pickle of Luther, 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Grace lived in Luther for 53 years and moved to Harrah in Dec. 1993 and resided there until her death. Mother, we will miss you, but we know you are up in Heaven with Dad and everyone else and are one of God's Angels and in his Heavenly choir in the sky. We love...
