Belinda Renee Simmons , 41, of Jones, Oklahoma passed away August 10, 2004 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Belinda was born November 23, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Howard & Anna Jenkins. Belinda married Jesse Simmons and to this union they were blessed with two children. Belinda worked as an LPN at Oklahoma City Clinic in Edmond. Belinda loved to take pictures of her grandchildren and would follow them around with a video camera. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, and being with her family. Belinda was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Jones, Oklahoma.

Belinda is preceded in death by her parents and her brother in law Henry Myers.

She is survived by her husband Jesse Simmons of the home, two daughters: Dana Jenkins and Brandy Simmons , two sisters: Sondra Myers and Sue Drye, her grandchildren Keily & Chad Lile and Hannah Jenkins (Kiwi & Banana) and one on the way, her nieces and nephews Travis and Carla Wilson and their children Brandy and Kaitlynn; Jerry and Charlotte Tinsley and their children Kyle, Kendra, Sammy, and Jereme; Carl and Shannon Myers, and their son Cody; Christie and Jeremiah Acuna and their children, Jeremiah, Niklas, and Noah; and Shawn Drye. The family would like to give thanks to those at Oklahoma City Clinic in Edmond, Dr. Patel, and all the nurses who cared for her during her battle with cancer.

Services will be held August 14, 2004 at the Assembly of God Church in Jones, Oklahoma with burial at Jones I.O.O.F Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. under the direction of Browns Funeral Parlor in Luther, Oklahoma.
