Etta Steele, age 88, of Jones, died Sunday. Funeral services will be at
2 P.M. Wednesday in the First United Methodist Church of Jones, with
burial in the Jones
I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Born March 27, 1894, at Mayshack, Oklahoma, she
was a life-long resident of the Jones area & a member of the First
United Methodist Church of Jones.
She was married to Jesse Steele on January 26, 1919. He preceded her in
death on January 12, 1968.
She is survived by a daughter Rita Barber of Oklahoma. Friends may call
at the Baggerley Funeral Home until 11 A.M. Wednesday

Jesse L. Steele - Edmond, Jesse Lee Steele, 73,
of Jones, died Friday in his home.
Services will be at 2.30 pm Sunday at Jones
Methodist Church with burial in IOOF Cemetery, Jones, by Baggerley
Funeral Home.
Born in Jones he was a retired farmer and
veteran of World War I. He was a member of Jones Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Etta May, a
daughter, Mrs. Rita E. Barber, W. Britton Rd; a brother Charley,
Kingman, AZ and six sisters, Mrs. Mittie Johnson, Ohio; Mrs. Mae Seidel
Choctaw; Mrs. Ethel Campbell, Jones; Mrs. Mossie Campbell, Denver; Mrs.
Euna Thompson, Modesto, Calif; and Mrs. Jewel McCoy, Kingman.
