IRA VIRGIL THOMPSON

Services are tentatively set for 2 p. m. Sunday in Hunter funeral home tor Ira Virgil "Jiggs" Thompson, 28, World war II veteran. who was killed by zzll lightning Tuesday in Lindsay.

Thompson served three years in the army. Following his discharge in 1945 he went to work with a travelling repair crew tor Magnolia Petroleum Co.

He is survived by his wife and two children. Darrel Dean 7 and Grace Ann, 2 1/2. His wife and the children were with him in Lindsay. They moved from place to place and lived in a house trailer.

Other survivor-s are three brothers. Robert, Edmond; Floyd. Arcadia. and George. city: two sisters. Miss Iris  Thompson and Mrs. Maudie MacLean. both of San Francisco.

Interment will be in Kolb Cemetery, near Spencer.
