Funeral services for Ruth Imogene “Jean” Carico, 77,
of Oklahoma City were held Jan. 24, 2007 in the Chapel of Roses at Resthaven
Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City with chaplain David Oxley and chaplain Cathy
Tisher officiating. Services were under the direction of Wilson-Little Funeral
Home in Purcell.
Mrs. Carico died Jan. 20, 2007 at Alterra Sterling
House in Oklahoma City. She was born July 11, 1929 in St. Louis, Okla., the
second of eight children of Willie Benjamin Elledge and Daisy Lee O”Bryant Elledge. During her younger years, she lived in Ardmore and her family later
moved to Edmond where she attended high school.
She married Jack Dempsey Seabolt. Mr. Seabolt was in
the U.S. Air Force and the couple lived in a number of states including
Mississippi and Oregon. After his retirement, they settled east of Noble.
While living in Mississippi she worked at the Biloxi Air Force Base and while
living in Killeen, Texas, she worked at Fort Hood. When the couple moved to
Noble she worked at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City until her retirement.
While living in Noble she was a member of Twelve
Corners Baptist Church where she played the piano. After Mr. Seabolt’s death,
she married Boniface Carico. They made their home in McLoud until his death. For
the past four years she had been a resident of the Alterra Sterling House in
Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by two husbands; one
daughter, Carole Ann Seabolt; one infant older brother and one younger brother,
Ronald Elledge.
Survivors include her daughter, Rena Seabolt Horton
of Jones; two sisters, Maxine Rudkin and her husband, Pat, of Guthrie and
Barbara Lorenz and her husband, Roger, of Lexington; three brothers, David
Elledge and his wife, Naomi, and Kenneth Elledge and his wife, Donna, all of
Oklahoma City and Donald Elledge of Norman.
Pallbearers were David Elledge Sr., David Elledge Jr., Kenneth Elledge, Roger
Lorenz, Chad Anderson and Chris Elledge.

Boniface W. "Bon" Carico , 78, McLoud, died Saturday
at an Oklahoma City hospital.
He was born June 14, 1924, in McLoud to John Wesley
and Annie O. (Oburne) Carico . Carico attended White Rock School.
A lifetime resident of McLoud, he served in the U.S. Navy.
On March 11, 1956, he married Doris Caldwell in
McLoud. She preceded him in death in 1984.
He retired from Tinker Air Force Base and the McLoud
Fire Department.
He was a member of the McLoud Church of Christ and
the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association.
Carico also was preceded in death by his parents, one
brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth I. Carico of the
home; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Rebecca Carico , McLoud; two daughters
and sons-in-law, Jarenda and William Garner, Oklahoma City, and Treva and Bobby
Gamble, Okarche; grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Harlee and Courtney Carico ,
McLoud; Rusty and Kim Garner, Oklahoma City; Randy Garner, Oklahoma City; and
Bradley Gamble, Okarche; and great-grandchildren, Anakin and Lois Garner, Yukon,
and Dylan Gamble, Oklahoma City; and number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at McLoud Church of
Christ with Wayne Price officiating.
Burial will be at
Dale Cemetery under the direction of
Walker Funeral Service.
