James "Jimmy" Leon, age 49, of Midwest City, passed
away June 10, 2006 at his home. He was born on
January 11, 1957 to Clarence Leon and Rosalie
(Crews) Coley. He was a 1975 graduate of Midwest
City High School and a member of the State Champion
Baseball Team. He worked as a machinist at Tinker
Air Force Base. He was an avid classic muscle car
fan. He also enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR
events and playing softball and golf.
Jimmy is survived by his son, James Nelson and
wife, Theresa of Harrah, OK; a nephew of Midwest
City, OK and a number of aunts and uncles in the
Ponca City area. Funeral services will be held at
Bill Eisenhour N.E. Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday,
June 14, 2006 with burial to follow at
Arlington Memory Gardens.
