Allard E. DeShazo died Tuesday, March 7, 2006. He married Virginia Ballard, the love of his life, June 27, 1958. He served three years in the Navy and was a member of Del Air Neighborhood Watch Association. He enjoyed fishing and gardening and loved his family most of all.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; three daughters, Judith Anne and husband Jack Baldwin, Patricia Faye and husband Darrell Daughtry and Rebecca Lee and husband Danny Rowton; one son, Robert Allard DeShazo; six grandchildren, Amanda Baldwin, Katelyn and Kyle Daughtry and Hannah, Sarah and Caleb Rowton; three brothers, Everett, Leonard, and Arthur DeShazo; two sisters, Betty Hobbs and Mary Fairis; numerous nieces and nephews; and one special brother-in-law, John Ballard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George DeShazo and Dovie Crawford and one sister, Shirley Fludd.

A memorial service was 2 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2006 at Living Word Fellowship in Moore. Interment was held at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
