Frank J. Greenhaw, was born in Rocky, Oklahoma and, as a small child, moved with his parents to Oklahoma City. He attended Classen High School and Oklahoma City University and was on the football teams of both schools. Like many members of the football team at OCU in the 1930's, he got a job at the Oklahoma City Fire Department instead of a football scholarship. He remained with the Fire Dept. until 1956, when he retired as captain. He then was a real estate broker for many years. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II. He is survived by Bertha I. Greenhaw , his wife of 53 years; a sister, Mrs. Ina Koper; brothers, Herbert Greenhaw , Floyd Greenhaw , and Finis Greenhaw ; also many nieces and nephews, among them Floyd W. Greenhaw and his wife, Billie, who were always there for him during his long illness, and by Mrs. Louise Jorgensen of Henderson, Nevada, who came to give help and support. He will be missed by many friends at Lake Hefner Golf Course, where he enjoyed many hours during the year s of his retirement. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1991 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
