W . C . " Riggs " Harrison , age 83, of Newalla passed away June 24, 2006. Riggs was born May 23, 1923 in Roosevelt, OK to Ben and Della Harrison . He was an Army Veteran serving in the Pacific in WWII and after the war joined the Air Force and served for 18 years and retired on December 31, 1966. Riggs lived in the Newalla area since 1965 and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, the love and joy of his life his wife, Novella and 2 sisters, Esther and Nolan. He is survived by his son, Cliff and wife, Linda of Harrah, 2 granddaughters, Michelle Au and husband, Michael of Perrysville, OH and Melanie Wilkerson and husband, Justin of Choctaw, grandson, Chad Harrison and wife, Rachel of OKC, 4 great grandson, Matthew, Maverick, Dalton and Cash, also 1 brother, Harry of OKC and 3 sisters, Ulene, Juanita and Dollie.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Dale Cemetery.
