LIVERY DRIVER TO BE BURIED HERE MONDAYEarly-Day
Figure in City Is California Car Victim.
Rites for Bert M. Little. 58 years old, who drove a
livery for the Huck-ins hotel In the early days,
will be conducted at 3 p. m. Monday in the Capitol
Hill funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn
cemetery.
Little, brother of Mrs. Edd L. Hisel. 5729 South
Shields boulevard, died Monday in Oakland, Calif.,
from injuries received a week ago in a motor car
mishap at Oakland.
Little came to the city from Iowa in 1901 and moved
to Oakland in 1910. For the last 14 years he had
been employed by a railroad company there.
Besides his sister here, he is survived by his wife;
a daughter. Miss Mary Alice Little, and a son,
Billy, all of Oakland; another sister. Mrs. E.
Needham, Rogers, Ark., and three brothers. H. G.
Little, Southeast Fifty-eighth street and Santa Fe
avenue; Paul Little. Southeast Sixtieth street and
Shields boulevard, and Charles H. Little. 214
Northeast Twelfth street.
