Oscar Thomas Dies; Funeral To Be Monday

Services for Oscar N. Thomas. 76, of 919 N Post Road, who died Friday In Capitol Hill General Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Midwest City Presbyterian Church, Key Blvd. at Babb, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born in Gainesville, Texas, Thomas came to Oklahoma City In 1943 and worked at Douglas Aircraft during World War IT. He was a member of the Presbyterian church at Walters.

A 32nd degree Mason, he belonged to the Midwest City Masonic Lodge. He was a past patron of the Eastern Star for both the chapter at Walters and the Galilee Chapter at Midwest City.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie C., of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Berniece Duerksen, Midwest City, Mrs. Mary Crawford, Lawton and Mrs. Dorothy Martin, Cottage Grove, Ore.; two brother, Amos Thomas, Okemah, and Houston Thomas, Long Beach, Calif.
