Larry Eugene Ware , 62, of Yukon,
passed away June 9, 2011.
He was born Jan. 18, 1949, in
Oklahoma City to Frank E.
and Faye L (Ross) Ware . He had been living in Yukon for the
last 11 years coming from Midwest City. He served in the United
States Navy and worked as an aircraft electrical mechanic for
Tinker Air Force Base. He enjoyed coaching girls' softball in
Midwest City and volunteered in the reading program at Tel Star
elementary in Midwest City. He also served as a mentor at
Independence Middle School in Yukon. He was a member of the
Piedmont Church of the Nazarene where he ran the sound system
and was also the church photographer.
Survivors include his wife, Diana, of the home; sons, Dwayne
Newbrey, of Midwest City, Thomas Newbrey, of Yukon; daughters,
Sheryl Spirlock, of Tulsa, Kristina Boone, of Broken Arrow, Lori
Bevenue and husband, Alfred, of Eufaula; brother, Mike Ware and
wife, Sharon, of Cleveland, Texas; nine grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at the
Piedmont Church of the Nazarene with burial in the
Dale
