Roy Darrell Wyatt, 76, of Del City, Okla., died Monday in Midwest City. Roy was born Aug. 24, 1929 in Oklahoma City, the son of Roy O. and Zella Mae Wyatt. He graduated from Capital Hill High School where he ran track and held a state record in the one mile run, until the early 1970s. Roy joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Korean Conflict. He later retired from the Marine Corps as well as OG&E with more than 30 years of service and was a 32 Degree Mason. Roy loved scuba diving, hunting, fishing, golf, dominoes, poker, bowling, softball and loved raising pointers to hunt with. Roy is survived by his wife, Geralda; two daughters and their husbands, Dara and Pat McGlamery and Gina and Kevin Wall all of Midwest City; three grandchildren, Matt Wall, Ryan McGlamery and Allison Wall; two sisters, Shirley and her husband, Don Thomas of Del City and Janet Chappell of Oklahoma City.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Keith Alan Wyatt. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Candlewood Chapel.

Buried in the cemetery: Resthaven Memory Gardens.
