Ray, Edward L., age 50, passed away Oct. 20, 1994.
He was a native Oklahoman, born on 6-25-44, the son
of Howard E. "Dink" and Lois Ray. Ed graduated from
N.E. High School, Central State Univ. and in 1973,
graduated from OCU School of Law. After many years
of doing defense litigation, Ed opened his own law
practice in 1987. He was a member of the Okla. and
Amer. Trial Lawyers, Amer. Bar, Okla. Bar and Okla.
County Bar Associations. He was a longtime member of
the Crutcho Baptist Church.
Ed married Susan Heinze,
4-14-72 in OKC. He was preceded in death by his
father. Survivors include Susan and their children,
"Chip" and Lindsey of the home; his mother, Lois and
sister, Barbara Ray of Midwest City; and four
brothers, Carl of Ft. Gibson, Bill of Moore, Steve
of Choctaw and Paul of Mustang. Ed had been an avid
hunter all of his life and enjoyed hunting trips
with many of his friends. Services 10:00 a.m. Sat.,
Oct. 22, 1994 at Hahn-Cook Funeral Home with burial
at Arlington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the Heritage Hall Edward L. Ray
Memorial Fund.
