Donald Abbott

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Donald C. Abbott, Ph.D., 78, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Wooster, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Memorial services were held today (Wednesday) at 2 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, with Father Robert Fellows officiating.

Arrangements were handled by Strode Funeral Home, Stillwater, Okla.

He was born Nov. 11, 1923, in Lincoln, Kan., to Clayton Elmer and Lucille Frances (Giboney) Abbott.

Surviving are daughters, Carolyn Abbott of Westminster, Mass., Christine Hendrickson of Stillwater, Okla., and Cynthia Jolicoeur of Los Altos Hills, Calif.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Dolores Ann Doolan of Cincinnati.
