Thomas Acton, 82 years old, retired contractor, who lived
with his daughter, Mrs. Marion Norman, 1937 West Park place,
died Wednesday night of diabetes and a heart ailment at
Samaritan hospital.
Acton was a building contractor in Oklahoma City from 1901
until his retirement 15 years ago. He was a member of the Mason
lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ellen Jane Acton of the home
address; two daughters, Mrs. J. A. Saunders 2236 Northwest
Eleventh and Mrs. Marion Norman; three sons,
George H. Acton,
Seattle Wash.; Thomas H. Acton, Colorado Springs, Colo. and W.
C. Acton, Tulsa.
Burial is at
Fairlawn Cemetery.

Mrs Ella J. Acton, 85, died Sunday afternoon in the home of a
daughter, Mrs. Marion Norman, following a stroke of paralysis.
A resident here since 1900, she had made her home with her
daughter since the death of her husband, Thomas Acton in 1938.
She was a member of the Episcopal church.
In addition to Mrs. Norman, she is survived by another
daughter, Mrs. J. A. Saunders 2236 Northwest
Eleventh and Mrs. Marion Norman; two sons, W. C. Acton, Tulsa
and Thomas H. Acton, Colorado Springs, Colo.
Services will be arranged by the Guardian funeral home.
Burial is at
Fairlawn Cemetery.
