							ALSPAUGH
							FUNERAL FROM WHITE TEMPLE
							The funeral of
							O. C. Alspaugh, who died. Monday morning, was held
Thursday afternoon at the Baptist White Temple under
the auspices of the Masonic lodge. The Rev. Carter
Helm Jones conducted the service and the body was
							burled in
Fairlawn cemetery. Mr. Alspaugh was a veteran
railway mail service man and organized the local
office of that service. He was also a prominent
member of the local Masonic order.
							The music was
under the direction of Prof. W. H. Green, organist
of the White Temple. Several beautiful anthems were
sung by the White Temple choir and one of the organ
selections was the funeral march composed by Attwood
and played for the first time at the funeral of Lord
Nelson In 1808, at St. Paul's Cathedral In London.
