Anderson, Russell Leonard, 86, died Friday. Services 1 pm Monday.

Anderson, Russell Leonard passed away at home on April 27, 2001, at the age of 86. Leonard was born on August 18, 1914, in Choctaw, OK, where he lived and worked all his life. He grew up on the family farm. He met and married his bride off 66 years, Ellen Addiline Lundy in Harrah, OK. They had 3 children, Freddie, Shelia and Robert. zzzzz Leonard worked for Douglas Aircraft, O G&E and later owned and operated the Choctaw Conoco Service Station for many years.

He was preceded in death by his son, Freddie; daughter Shelia; parents, Mary and George; brothers, Jesse and Leon; sister, Opal.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Ellen of the home; grandson, Russ of Denver, Co; son, Bob and wife, Mary Ellen of Oklahoma City; Rik Dever and family of Oklahoma City; Torn Deaver of Boston, MA; sister, Helen Wolfe of Choctaw; and many nieces and nephews.

Family wishes to thank the Angelic Hospice Staff...

Services will be held at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, Monday, April 30, at 1 pm with interment at Schwartz Cemetery.

Ellen Adeline Anderson, 90, passed away peacefully and went home to God on December 16, 2006. Ellen, born in Choctaw OK, on Aug. 24, 1916 to parents Forrest and Hattie Lundy was one of 8 children. She lived, worked, loved, and raised her family in Choctaw where she enjoyed gardening, painting, quilting, and many creative projects. In later years, she handmade a beautiful collection of porcelain dolls that fills an entire room.zzzzz  She was an amazing cook and we will miss her pies and Christmas candy! She loved to fish at Lake Texoma and fried fish for the family many times.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard of 66 yrs, son Freddie, daughter Sheila, and brothers, Forrest, Bill and Pete. She is survived by son Bob, wife Mary Ellen, OKC; grandson Russ Anderson, wife Stacie and great grandson twins, Luke and Landon, Denton TX; grandson Rik Deaver, wife Miriam, children, Aarika and Aaron, Sanford NC; and grandson Tom Deaver, OKC. She is also survived by siblings, Ester, Floyd, Kenneth, Cleta, and sister-in-law Helen. Her, son, grandsons, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends loved her and will miss her everyday. Her family thanks the 'Angelic Family Hospice' for their loving and selfless support during Ellen's final days. Services will be held on December 19, 2006 at 10:00 at Hibbs Funeral Home, Choctaw OK, and interment at Swartz Cemetery.
