Aged Man Drops Dead In Street

Thomas Armstrong Steps upon curbing and fall
							over.
Death came suddenly to Thomas Armstrong, 65 years
old, a former federal soldier, Monday. Armstrong had
just steeped upon the curb of the sidewalk in front
of 127 West Reno avenue, when he dropped to the
ground. He was carried into the residence of Charles
Stover, 127 West Reno avenue, where he expired a few
minutes afterward and before medical aid could be
							summoned.
The remain are being held at Marshall & Harper's
undertaking parlor for funeral arrangements. The man
was little known here. He carried letters from S. M.
Maley of Enid and other letters which identified him
							as being Thomas Armstrong.
An autopsy will be held Tuesday by the coroner's
jury to determine the cause of his death. It is said
that he suffered with dropsy and that his death
might have been caused by that disease and heart
trouble. So far as could be  ascertained Monday
night by the police  the dead man had no near
							relatives in Oklahoma.

dead man, J. E.  Mayberry of Enid, is coming to
arrange for the funeral. Armstrong is survived by a
