BILL E. CHAFFEE

Bill E. Chaffee, 67, of S612 NE 23, died Saturday in Veterans Administration hospital after a four-year illness.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Smith & Kernke funeral home. Born in Great Bend. Kan.. Chaffee had lived in the Oklahoma City area for many years. He served in the army during World war I.

A member of the Christian church, he also belonged to Post 35 of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice, of the home. and two sisters, 5Irs. Audrey Southard and Mrs. Hazel Robertson, both of Whittier. Calif.

MRS. BEATRICE M. _CHAFFEE

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Arlington Memorial cemetery for Mrs. Beatrice M. Chaffee, 44, of 9616 NE 23.

Mrs. Chaffee, who had been in failing health for some time, was found dead in her home Monday. A native of Hewitt, Texas, she had lived here several  years. S

mith & Kernke funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors are four sisters, Mrs. J. L. Ramsey, 9620 NE 23; Mrs. Ruby L. Garwood and Mrs. Rosa Mac Hurpin, both of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Bettie Jo DeBeny, Waco, Texas and a brother. Homer McCutcheon, of Waco.
