Of APCO Dies
The Oklahoman, Monday, Dec 4, 1961: Charles H.
Dresser, 68, of 1201 NE 46, retired vice president
of Anderson Prichard Oil Co (APCO), died Sunday in
his home. Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday in
Hahn-Cook Funeral Home.
Born in Ellsworth, Maine, Dresser came to Oklahoma
City in 1921. He retired in 1958 after 41 years with
APCO. He was a member of Twin Hills Golf & Country
Club, Revellers Club and Variety Club. He served in
World War I and was a member of the American Legion.
He was also a member of the Petroleum Club.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy, of the home; two
sons, Charles H. Jr, Houston; and Grey A. 3733 NW 59
Terr., and two sisters, Mrs. Eric Chase, Auburn,
Maine; and Sarah Woodward, of Ellsworth.
The family prefers that friends wishing to make
memorial contributions do so with donations to the
Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.

DRESSER Nancy Bell, born September 20, 1914, died
the day before Thanksgiving, November 25, 1992.
She was preceded In death b/ her husband, Charles
H.; and her brothers, William C and J. Stewart Bell.
She is survived by her daughter Judy A. Clarke; two
grandchildren, Wendy B. and J Stewart Warren; and
her companion, Bessie Rucker. A memorial service
will be held at 1 pm Saturday, at Hahn-Cook/Street
& Draper Chapel, Memorial donations may be made to
