Rites for George Dewey Edwards, 58-year-old retired used car salesman of 3020 S Santa Fe, will be 10 am Saturday in Memory chapel. Hunter funeral home, with burial at Collinsville.

Edwards died Wednesday at his home after a two-year illness. He was born July 9, 1808, at Vinita, and came to Oklahoma City from Bristow in 1929 A veteran of World war I, Edwards belonged to Bible Baptist church

He is survived by his wife, Mary M, of the home: a son, Garld D., 6110 Shields; two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie L. Campbell, 2317 N Warren, and Mrs. Lucyle Clark, Wilmington, Calif.; a stepson. Lynn Ward, McAlester; two grandchildren; a brother. William Edwards Locust Grove; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Hannahan. Boise, Idaho and Mrs. Esther Holt, Spavinaw a half sister, Mrs. Margaret Wool sey, Tulsa, and a stepbrother, Jess S. Davis, Springfield, Mo.
