Death Claims Retired Grocer Kernke

Services for W- A. Hall. 76, retired city grocery store and service station operator, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Smith & Kernke funeral chapel. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial cemetery.

Hall died Monday morning in Wesley hospital after being stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage. Born June 19, 1881, in Fannin county, Texas, Hall came to Oklahoma with his family in 1891 and lived first at Durant. He farmed near Durant until 1929 when he moved to Oklahoma City. From 1929 until  1945 he operated a grocery store and service station.

Mr. and Mrs. Hall, who were married in Durant, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Saturday. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Bolvia E. .Hall, 8400 NE 23: three sons. Jack Hall,. 7200 NE 23; Huston R. Hall, 2500 NW Eubanks, and R. C. Hall, 2232 NW 31; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
