MRS. GAYLE HUME

Mrs. Gayle Hume, 36-year-old city woman who was fatally injured in an accident near Bristow Sunday, had been employed by the National Aid Life Insurance Co. more than 15 years, almost ever since she moved here with her family from Chicago. She began at the company as a stenographer. but soon became private secretary to L. H. Houghton, Secretary of the firm. She and her husband had been visiting their son. Leonard. at Tulsa Saturday and Sunday and were returning when the accident occurred, eight miles northeast of Bristow. She died in a Bristow hospital.

Surviving. in addition to her husband and son. are her mother, Mr. Edla Bell, of the home address. 4318 Granger Avenue: And several sisters. Services have not been arranged.

Injured City Man
In Critical Condition At
Bristow Hospital

LeRoy Richard Hume, 55-year-old man injured near Bristow Sunday
in an automobile accident that took the  life of his wife, was reported in a critical condition Wednesday night Bristow General hospital.

Hume, a draftsman for the Tibbs Dorsey Manufacturing Co. contrasted pneumonia Tuesday night, attendant's at the hospital said, and was being given oxygen Wednesday. He lives at 4318 Granger avenue.

Servicers for Mrs.. Hume were conducted by Rev. John C. Blackman of the Pilgrim Congregational church. Wednesday afternoon in the Smith and Kernke funeral chapel.
