Carrie _Maxey Is Dead at 70 ~~ Carrie M. Maxey, 70, route 2, Harrah, died Friday in a city hospital.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Harrah Baptist Church with burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

She came to Oklahoma in 1892 and settled near Harrah. She lived for a time at Spencer.

Surviving are her husband, J. Henry Maxey, of the home; two sons, Eugene Lee Maxey and Vernon K. Maxey, both of Oklahoma City; two sisters. Grace D'Graffenfied and Mabel Wilson, Oklahoma City; a brother, Steve, Tuttle. four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

JOHN H. MAXEY

HARRAH — John H. Maxey, 77, of Harrah, died Friday in Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 2 pm Monday in Harrah Baptist Church with burial in Arlington Memorial Cemetery by Wilson Funeral Home. Born in Arkansas, he came to Harrah in 1932 and was a retired dairyman and former Cleveland County school teacher. He was a former Oklahoma Dairy Association member.

Survivors include two sons, Eugene, Harrah, and Vemon in Michigan, and a sister, Mrs. Edna Lyne, Newalla.
