MRS. NANNIE MEEK
Mrs. Nannie Meek. 49 years
old, died Thursday in a city hospital After a long
illness. Mrs. Meek, 1601 W Birch Avenue, underwent a
major abdominal operation in April.
Services will be conducted at
4 p.m. Friday in the Hahn funeral home. Burial will
be in
Rose Hill cemetery. Survivors include her
husband. Jack Meek; five daughters, Mrs. Harlan
Pontius, Mrs. Durwood Parry, Mrs. Buddie Green,
Dorothy and Billie Jo Meek, all of Oklahoma City:
her father, J. O, Talley, Norman: one sister, Mrs.
Bryan oldsby, Norman: four brothers, butch and
Cliff, both of Norman; Wass, Tuttle, and Joe, For
Sill.

JACK MEEK
Services for Jack Meek, 76, of 4145 NW 23, who died
Friday, will be at 2 pm Monday in Guardian Funeral
Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
A retired cattleman, Meek was born in Texas and
moved to Oklahoma City In 1889. He was a member of
Linwood Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah, of the home;
five daughters, Mrs. Harlin Pontious, 1820 Drexel;
Mrs. D. E. Darry, 2535 NW 30; Mrs. Wilbur Smith and
Mrs. D. M. Green, both of Stillwater; and Mrs. C. C.
Arnold, Dallas: a step-daughter, Mrs. Carl Fritze,
Tulsa; and two brothers, including D. T. Meek.
