C. A. Adams, Seminole, Injured in a boiler explosion early
Tuesday on a Phillips Petroleum Co. lease near Fifty-sixth
street and the Santa Fe tracks. was reported recovering Tuesday
night in Capitol City hospital clinic.
Charles Parkhurst, 28 years old, Prospect avenue and
Southeast Twenty-ninth street, died at the clinic shortly after
2 o'clock. Tuesday afternoon.
Funeral arrangement; will be completed Wednesday by Watts and
McAfee funeral home. The men were employed by Loffland Bros.
drilling company on the Phillips lease.
Burial: Fairlawn Cemetery
