Chester Andrew Truelove, 80, passed from this life April 12, 2017. He was born August 25, 1936 in Oklahoma City to Carl and Goldia Truelove. Chester owned Truelove’s Bar, and had multiple locations across the metro area. After more than 50 years of operation, at age 56, Chester retired from the bar business and sold all of his locations. He loved woodworking and motorcycles and was a proud member of the Harley Davidson Owners Group.

Chester was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: Melvin, Annabell, Carroll Alexander, Darrel, and Virginia. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: loving wife, Linda Truelove; son, Rusty Truelove and wife Deanna of Oklahoma City; daughter, Aundrea Archibald and husband David of Oklahoma City; grandchildren: Jeremy and wife Amanda of Lawton, Zachary of Oklahoma City, Keliann of Oklahoma City, Becca and husband Nick of Norman; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Otis Truelove; sister, Lily Tindel; and his loyal chocolate Labrador, Fudgie.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 14, from 12-8pm, with family present to greet friends from 6-8pm. A celebration of Chester's life will be held 2pm Saturday, April 15, in the Chapel at Resthaven.
Burial Resthaven Gardens Cemetery.
