New Marriage Book Opened

A new marriage license book was opened by the marriage clerk at the court house Thursday, and the first names entered were Henry Williams, 22, Oklahoma City, to wed Miss Florence Bilingey, 19, also of Oklahoma City. The last application on the old book was that of Jesse Taylor Merritt, 34, to wed Miss Vivian Ellen Cox, 19, both of Oklahoma City. License was also issued Thursday to Leon Parker, 54, of Luther and Miss Sarah Adams, 23, also of Luther. The old book was opened last Oct. 1, and contains 643 pages, which runs the average for the six months a little over 100 marriages a month.
