MACY -- Maxie Anita Macy, 53, died Saturday, December 2, 2006 at her home. Maxie was born January 15, 1953, in Miami, OK, to Raymond and Clarabelle May, and held her Peoria Indian heritage in very high esteem throughout her life. She graduated from High School In Owasso, OK where she was President of her Senior Class and active in the Honor Society and the girl's basketball program. She attended Rogers and TU and held Sales positions in Oklahoma and Illinois. She is survived by her husband, Ron; mother; sisters, Rita and Ann, Owasso, OK; and brother Robert, Paola, KS. A Memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday at Butler-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Donations to Hospice of Green Country are requested in lieu of flowers.
