cemetery is owned and cared for by the City of Choctaw, cemetery is well maintained and stones are in good condition

Cemetery is located on Highway 31 between Haywood and McAlester Oklahoma. Directions from McAlester are as follows: From Carl Albert Parkway go south on "D" Street one block to Highway 31. Turn right (west) on Highway 31 and travel 7.5 miles to the cemetery road turn off. There is a sign marking the turn for Christian Hill Cemetery. Go down the road to the end and you'll see the cemetery entrance gate. This is a very well tended cemetery. There are at least 150 graves marked with fieldstones.

LaRue and High Hill is three (3) cemeteries, this is the site of an Indian church which has been moved three (3) times, from one side of the road to the other.

There is also a fourth (4th) High Hill Cemetery and a fifth (5th) known as Nunny Cha-Ha which is the one south of Bache near the community of High Hill.
