BE IT REMEMBERED THAT ON THIS THE 2nd day of September 1912, the District Court of Pushmataha County, State of Oklahoma, convened in regular session in the Court Room at Antlers, in said County and State. Present and presiding the Honorable A. H. Ferguson, Judge of the District Court of said County, and also present, A. J. Arnote, Esq. County Attorney, C. E. Stephenson, Sheriff and P. W. Hudson, Clerk.

And public proclamation having been duly and lawfully made of the convening of the Court, and the following proceedings were had, to-wit:

ORDER EMPANELLING GRAND JURY.

Now on this the 2nd day of September 1912, comes C. E. Stephenson, Sheriff of Pushmataha County, State of Oklahoma, and returns into open Court the Venire for Grand Jurors for the September 1912, Term of the District Court of Pushmataha County, State of Oklahoma, duly selected, drawn and summoned as provided by law, and now the following named persons hold in custody awaiting the action of the Grand Jury are brought into open Court, to-wit:

Algie Baker and Bert Gross.

And now the Venire is called by the Clerk, and the following named person lawfully selected, drawn and summoned for Grand Jury are found present, to-wit:

R. W. Bryant
Ed Coffee
M. A. Flemming
W. W. Harper
John Hayes
O. P. Jones
J. W. Kincaid
F. M. McPhearson
J. T. Moon
William Orr
W. A. Redman
Ed M. Spencer
S. J. Taylor
John Watson
William Young

And are duly sworn by the Clerk to answer truthfully all questions that may be demanded of them touching their competencies and qualifications as Grand Jurors, and thereupon they were interrogated by the County Attorney and by the Court touching their qualifications as Grand Jurors; and now they are tendered for examination and for challenge to the prisoners aforesaid then there present, and to any other persons present who have reason to believe that any act of theirs will come before said Grand Jury for investigation, and no objection is offered to any of said Grand Jurors by any persons.

And now the following named persons twelve in number, lawfully selected drawn and summoned, being without legal excuse, and being shown to possess all the qualifications of Grand Jurors as required by law, are taken, to-wit:

O. P. Jones
J. W. Kincaid
J. T. Moon
William Orr
W. A. Redman
Ed M. Spencer
S. J. Taylor
John Watson

And now William Orr is by the Court appointed foreman of the Grand Jury and is sworn as such foreman in the manner and form provided by law; and now the reminder of the panel are sworn in the manner provided by law; and the said twelve persons are lawful empanelled as the Grand Jury for the September 1912, Term of this Court, and are now charged by the Court touching their duties; and now Charley White is by the Court appointed Bailiff for the Grand Jury and is duly sworn as such; and thereupon the Grand Jury retired in charge of their sworn bailiff to take up the matter before them.

And it is ordered by the Court that the remaining jurors summoned as Grand Jurors be held over as Petit Jurors for this term.
