Note from submitter:
I am a BRUCE researcher working on "The Bruce Web" written by Dr. Thomas A. Bruce. This book was published in the early 1980s. I am looking for missing branches of this BRUCE line.

I've traced a BRUCE family line from Sumner County, Tennessee to Pushmataha County, Oklahoma.

Isaac Walton BRUCE & Johanna PERRY migrated to Pushmataha County, Oklahoma and raised their children there. Many of this family are buried in the Old Tuskahoma Cemetery. Isaac is the son of John Bruce and Catherine Washington Swift of Sumner County, Tennessee

There is another BRUCE line in Pushmataha Co, OK that is not related to this line. At least I have yet to find a link to this other line of Bruce.

I am not a direct descendant of these BRUCE but do share older common ancestors.

I've made contact with living descendants of Brittomont "Brittie" BRUCE, dau. of the above couple, who married Hiram Isaac REED.

Sincerely, June D. Stewart
