QUARTERMASTER (CYCLONE) District #14
NW1/4NE1/4 of 26-16-22
The first school was held in the dugout of J.P. (Pete) THOMPSON while he was gone to marry a lady in Missouri. This was in the winter of 1901-1902. You see education was very important to the early settlers. The schoolhouse was built some time after this.
On April 8, 1914, Quartermaster or Cyclone united with MKT and Rhome to form the school, Three Corners. This name was chosen because the three school districts met at this corner.
