HERRING
NW1/4 of 14-13-22
On February 16, 1920 petitions were presented to disorganize School District Sedalia or Lower Sandstone and Success and form a consolidated district. The election was held and forty eight votes were cast for consolidation and fourteen against the consolidation. On March 16, 1920, the Sedalia and Success were declared disorganized and a consolidated district was organized under the name of Herring. In the spring of 1960 the Herring school was closed and part went to Cheyenne and the other to Hammon.
