Town of Roll NW1/4 of 13-15-24
ROLL (NW1/4 of 13-15-24) It is located fourteen miles north of Cheyenne. It was a post office from December 9, 1903 to August 31, 1920. It was named for the rolling hills that surround the little town. There are a few homes left in this community, but the town no longer exists. The Roll One Room School (1903 – 1943) was preserved and moved to the Cheyenne City Park in 1990. It is a museum as well as a “hands-on” one room school experience for area fourth grade students. There are many school photos in the school.
