Graveside services for the infant twins Tory and Albert BISHOP of Van Buren, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Liberty Cemetery, north of Roland. The infants died July 28, 1999, in Little Rock, Ark. Survivors include their parents, Tory and Albert BISHOP of the home; one sister, Christina; paternal grandparents, Herbert and Mildred BISHOP; maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Daisy FURMAN and Dewayne and Jeannie HAYDEN; paternal great-grandfather, Albert ODER; maternal great-grandmother, Ester PREWITT; maternal great-grandparents, Bill and Mary SPRADLEY, Ed and Helen BEAN, and James and Shirley THOMAS;and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Thomas Boyd BROWN, 79, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Tuesday, July 27, 1999, in Fort Smith.  Mr. BROWN was born Nov. 27, 1919, in Stigler, to Solomon and Essie BROWN.  Survivors include his wife, Zoe (LEMLEY) BROWN, of the home; one stepdaughter, Barbara and her husband, Wallace; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

Graveside services for Zoe "Mama Zoe" DEDEN, 99, of Fort Smith, Ark., were  held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.  Mrs. DEDEN died Wednesday, July 28, 1999, in Fort Smith. Survivors include one daughter, Zoe Ann; one daughter-in-law, Betty; four granddaughters,  two grandsons-in-law, five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth; one brother, Ralph; and one brother-in-law, Harold. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. DEDEN and one son, Buddy PINCKNEY.  Services were under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.  

Funeral services for Thelma Lee GREEN, 65, of Shady Point are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau. with the Rev. Jim Cook officiating .  Burial is in Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Poteau.  Mrs. GREEN was born May 25, 1934, in Shady Point. She died Wednesday, July 28, 1999, in Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven., Miss.  Survivors include her husband, Robert of the home; one son, David; two daughters, Belinda and Carol; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne and Gaylon; one sister, Sue; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and a host of friends.  

Graveside services for Hubert Artie IRWIN, 81, of Ventura, Calif., formerly of Muldrow, are being held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Blackjack Cemetery, northwest of Muldrow.  Mr. IRWIN was born March 2, 1917, in Muldrow.  Survivors include one sister, Desie Lee; one half-brother, George; three aunts, Betsy Lee, Vada, Hazel; four nieces; two nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services for Alma BURGER TANNER, 84, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 1 p.m. Friday at Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith.  Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.  Mrs. TANNER died Wednesday July 28, 1999, in a Fort Smith hospital.  Survivors include one daughter, Anna; two sons, Larry and Gary; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Gladys Faye WILSON, 85, of Sallisaw are being held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Royce Martin officiating.  Burial is in Akins Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home  in Sallisaw.  Mrs. WILSON  was born March 16, 1914, in the Blackjack community, to Charles Henry Fisher and Pearlie Alice (JACKSON) FISHER.   She died Wednesday, July 28, 1999, in Sallisaw.  She married James W. WILSON May 5, 1934, in Akins.  He preceded her in death Aug. 29, 1997.  Survivors include two daughters, Wava Sue and Donna; two sons, Jimmy and Bobby;  nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Euritha, Edna and Christine; and one brother, Bill.

Graveside services for Elvin BAWCOM, 93, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m.  Tuesday at Fleetwood Cemetery, east of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Donald D. Niblett officiating.  Mr. BAWCOM was born Sept. 26, 1905, in Llano, Texas, to John and Ollie (ROUSE) BAWCOM.  He died Sunday, August 1, 1999, in Vian.  He married Ethel STIGLER April 25, 1928, in Christoval, Texas.  She preceded him in death Oct. 9, 1990.   Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sammye and James; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Leo.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Graveside services for Mildred L. CULLISON, 85, of Sallisaw, formerly of Derby, Kan., will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Harper Cemetery in Harper, Kan.  Mrs. CULLISON was born May 20, 1914, in Harper to Frank and Gertrude (MORGAN) HELSBY.  She died Saturday, July 31, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.  She married Gordon W. CULLISON March 7, 1937, in Medicine Lodge, Kan.  Survivors include her husband, Gordan W. CULLISON of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Sherry, and Marc and Janet; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one nephew.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Graveside services for Phoenix B. FINNEY, 74, of Roland are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Buffington Cemetery, west of Sallisaw, with the Rev. John Overton officiating.  Mr. FINNEY was born Aug. 7, 1924, in Roland to Thomas Henry FINNEY and Goldie May (BOSWELL) FINNEY.  He died Monday, August 2, 1999, in a Fort Smith, Ark. hospital.  Survivors include three sisters, Betty Jane, Barbara Ann and Patricia Ann; and three brothers, Eugene, Albert and Fred.  Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Funeral services for Gary D. FUGETT, 33, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith, Ark., with the Rev. Jose Tharakan officiating.  Burial is in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, northeast of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mr. FUGETT  was born July 23, 1966, in Fort Smith, to Larry Gene FUGETT and Josephine Maryann (HATCH) FUGETT.  He died Monday, Aug. 2, 1999, in Muldrow. Survivors include his parents, Larry and Josie of the home; one brother, Eric; paternal grandparents, Gene and Virginia; maternal grandmother, Claudia; maternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Thomas and Betty; paternal great-grandmother, Marie; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services for George "Tommy" MADISON, 73, of Arkoma are being held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark., with the Rev. Jackie Gage officiating.  Burial is in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Mr. MADISON died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 1999, at his home. Survivors include his wife, Ruby MADISON of the home; four daughter, Phyllis, Linda, Janet and Sandra; three sons, Jerry, Edward and Harold Leon; one sister, Mamie; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.    

Graveside services for Raymond O. PARSON, 37, of Arkoma were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, Ark., with the Rev. Randy Jay officiating.  Mr. PARSON was born Feb. 11, 1962, in Whittier, Calif., to George and Vera (CHIQUET) PARSON. He died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999, in Arkoma.  Survivors include his parents, George and Vera; two sisters, Kimberly and Lori A.; one brother, George A.; four nephews; three nieces; and many friends.  Mr. PARSON was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Grace PARSONS and Richard and Elsie CHIQUET. Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro.  

Funeral services for Vernon G. "Pete" ROGERS, 72, of Wichita Kan., are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel in Wichita. Mr. ROGERS  died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999, in Wichita.  Survivors include his wife, Hilda of Wichita; one son, Jerry; one daughter, Linda; one brother, Clyde; five sisters, LaVerne, Elsie, Bertha, Clara, and Nettie; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  

Funeral services for Jimmie Rodger SUMPTER, 53, of Colcord were held at 10 a.m. July 27, at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs, Ark., with Larry Ellis officiating.  Burial was in Dickson Cemetery, near Cherokee City, under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.  Mr. SUMPTER was born May 14, 1946, in Gore, to Andrew Galloway SUMPER  and Almeda (BROWN) SUMPTER.  He died Friday, July 23, 1999, in Skaggs Hospital in Branson, Mo.  Survivors include his wife, Carol of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, Greg and Penny and Jimmie Rodger and Mandy; one daughter Lora; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Betty, Harold and Frances, Arvel and Mattelena, and Calvin and  Loretta; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and W. A.; and Ruth and Howard; and four grandchildren; Mr. SUMPTER was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Clifford SUMPTER.

Graveside services for Luther Tommy Ray EAGLE, infant son of J. B. and Laura EAGLE of Roland, were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, Ark. The infant died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 1999, in a Fort Smith hospital. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Joann CORCHAN; his maternal grandparents, Eddie and Monique REPKING, and Judy and Mike HAMRICK; two sisters, Samantha and Taza Ray; and two brothers, Zeke and Zack. Arrangements were under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

Funeral services for Bob R. PAYNE, 58, of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Joe Slater officiating.   Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. PAYNE was born Nov. 18, 1940, in Buffalo, to Elige and Josephine (BROWN) PAYNE.  He died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 1999, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Jan, and Brad and Stephanie; four grandchildren; and special friends Bill and Sue.  Mr. Payne was preceded in death by one brother, Clifton PAYNE.

Funeral services for John Henry WOODIS, 78, of Moffett are being held at 10  a.m. Saturday at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Moffett, with the Rev. M. L. Brown officiating.  Burial is in Centerpoint Cemetery, southeast of Muldrow, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. WOODIS was born Sept. 3, 1920, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Joe and Anna WOODIS. He died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 1999, in Moffett.  Survivors include his wife Evelyn (FLURRY) WOODIS of the home; three daughters, Cecil Evelyn, Minnie Lee and Rosa Lee; three step-daughters, Mary, Earnestine, and Sally M.; two step-sons, Ozell and Lonnie; seven grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Margaret BURCHAM, 67, of Van Buren, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Edwards Van-Alma  Chapel in Van Buren.  Burial was in Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith Ark.., under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.  Mrs. BURCHAM died Sunday, August 8, 1999, in a local hospital.  Survivors include three daughters, Sandra, Marilyn and Lisa; eight sons, Jimmy, William, Johnny, Tommy, Bruce, Carl, Michael  and Ricky; three sisters, Lula, Rosemary and Ann; one brother, Charles; 30 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  

Graveside services for Ella CARSON, 83, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 9 a.m.  Thursday at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith.  Mrs. CARSON died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, in a local hospital.  

Graveside services for A. J. EDWARDS, 70, of Van Buren, Ark., are being held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Piney Cemetery, north of Mulberry, Ark.  Mr. EDWARDS died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, in a local hospital.  Survivors include his wife, Stella  Ruth EDWARDS of Van Buren; three daughters, Molly, Melinda and Stella; four sons, Benny, Buddy, Mike and Wake; four sisters, Ola Mae, Josie, Oma and Rosetta; two brothers, Jimmy and Truman; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  Arrangements are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.  

Funeral services for Aubree Nicole HARRIS, infant daughter of Chad and LuWella (COOPER) HARRIS of Vian were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Blunt Baptist Church with the Rev. Leroy Reid officiating. Burial was in Rocky Point Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The infant was born Friday, August 6, 1999, in Tulsa and died the same day. In addition to her parent she is survived by her grandparents, Vic and Ruth Ann HARRIS, and Frankie and Lou COOPER; great-grandparents, Vola KEY and the late Claude KEY, and Franklyn and Ethel COOPER and Hazel DAVIS, and the late Pete DAVIS, and Fern HARRIS of Monroe and the late Evert HARRIS.

Funeral services for Margaret HASTINGS, 101, of Gans were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of Christ in Sallisaw, with Bro. Royce Martin officiating.  Burial was in Fleetwood Cemetery, east of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Miss HASTINGS was born Sept. 4, 1897, in Carroll County, Tenn., to George Riley HASTINGS and Amanda Paralee (MIZELL) HASTINGS.  She died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, at her home.  Survivors include three nephews; two nieces; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.  Miss HASTINGS was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.  

Funeral services for William Clarence HAYNES, 71, of Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.  Burial was in Dora Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.   Mr. HAYNES  died Monday, August 9, 1999, in Muldrow.  Survivors include one daughter, Sandra; one son, Scott; two sisters, Gloria and Betty; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  Mr. HAYNES was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes HAYNES.

Funeral services for Everet "Big 'N'" STRAIN, 81, of Spiro were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Mallory Chapel in Spiro.  Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro.  Mr. STRAIN was born Jan. 30, 1918, in Spiro, to George and Emma (LILLARD) STRAIN.  He died Friday, Aug. 6. 1999, in Spiro.  Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, George and Dava; one sister, Mary; and three grandchildren. Mr. STRAIN was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Elsie HUNTER and Joanna MASTERSON; and three brothers, Ray, Buster and Alvin STRAIN.  

Funeral services for Fred N. WARREN, 79, of Whitefield are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Whitefield Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ray Gwartney officiating.  Burial is in Whitefield Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler.  Mr. WARREN  was born Oct. 2, 1919, in Dewar, to Richard Henry WARREN and Ruth (JONES) WARREN.   He died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, north of Eufaula.  Survivors include three daughters and three sons-in-law, Ruth and Bobby , Freda and Jerry, and Glenda and Mike; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Brenda; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  Mr. WARREN  was preceded in death by his wife Evone WARREN;  one sister; four brothers; and one grandchild.

Memorial services for Jessie David WILLIAMS, 50, of Fort Smith, Ark., formerly of Roland, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ in Gans, under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, Ark.  Mr. WILLIAMS was born Feb. 8, 1949, in Van Buren, Ark., to Jessie David and Eva Marie (HYATT) WILLIAMS.  He died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith.  He was cremated.  Survivors include one son, David Wesley; two daughters, Bridgett LeAnn, and Jessica Paulette; his father, J. D.; two brothers, Willis and Eugene; four sisters, Mary, Patricia, Sharron and Nina; and six grandchildren.  

Graveside services for Gladys WOODWARD, 91, of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Maple Cemetery.  Mrs. WOODWARD was born April 16, 1908, in Long, to Val and Dora Bell (GREEN) WALTERS.  She died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, at Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw.  Survivors include several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. WOODWARD was preceded in death by her husband, Caswell WOODWARD; her parents; four brothers, Rouie, Arvel, Raymond and Carnell WALTERS; and two sisters, Mossie SEABOLT  and Vern MITCHELL.  Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Wynona TAYLOR YACKUBOSKY, 72, of Oklahoma City were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Ted Eppler officiating.  Burial was in Buffington Cemetery, west of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. YACKUBOSKY was born Sept. 20, 1926, in Sallisaw, to Clifford and Auda (MATTOX) TAYLOR.  She died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, in Oklahoma City.  She married John YACKUBOSKY Nov. 5, 1958, in Oklahoma City.  Survivors include her husband, John YACKUBOSKY of the home; one daughter, Linda; one stepdaughter and husband, Carol and David; one stepson and wife, Don and Sharon; three granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; her mother, Auda; two sisters, Euphemia and Joan; and three brothers, John Famous, Richard and Clifton.

Funeral services for Arthur Almon SEABOLT, 73, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Belefonte Church, northeast of Muldrow, with the Revs. Martin Cochran and Dale Phelps officiating.  Burial is in Belefonte Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. SEABOLT was born July 9, 1926, in the nicut community, to Timothy Eugene SEABOLT and Jennie (COLEMAN) SEABOLT.  He died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Bernis; one grandson, Chad Carlton; one great-grandson; two sisters, Virgie and Mabel; and one brother, George.

Funeral services for M. Dean STORTS, 77, of Gore are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Monte Johnson and Emmett M. Rice officiating.  Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. STORTS was born May 23, 1922, in Sallisaw, to William T. STORTS and Ray (DAVIS) STORTS.  He died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, in Muskogee.  He married Beverly LINCOLN Jan. 19, 1990, in Tahlequah.  Survivors include his wife, Beverly STORTS of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Deanna Sue and Dr. Richard; one grandchild; one sister, Geneva; and one brother, Buren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Edith Elizabeth ALDERSON,  86, of  Sallisaw, formerly of  Checotah, are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Checotah, with the Rev. Carl Page officiating.  Burial is in Greenlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Checotah.  Mrs. ALDERSON was born July 13, 1913, in Checotah, to Carl and Bess (CRITTENDON) HAGAN.  She died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, in Sallisaw.  She married Willie ALDERSON Feb. 16, 1929, in Checotah. He preceded her in death in 1968.  Survivors include four sons, W.C., Bennie G., Jimmy Ray and Roger Dale; two daughters, Bonnie Ruth and Goldie June; two brothers, Bill and David; two sisters, Nancy and Mabel; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.  Mrs. ALDERSON was also preceded in death by one son, John Lee ALDERSON , and her parents.  

Graveside services for Flo Edward CAIN, 74, of Stilwell were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cain Family Cemetery, near Stilwell, with the Rev. Mike Fink officiating.  Mr. CAIN was born Jan. 7, 1925, in Welling, to Floyd and Cosy CALICO CAIN.  He died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999, in Stilwell.  He married Jessie Louise BRISCO  May 19, 1947, in Weatherford, Texas.  Survivors include his wife, Louise CAIN ; one daughter, Pam; two sons, Terry and Danny; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wilma and Sue; and five brothers, Andrew, Bill, Frank, Clyde and Gary Don.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Funeral services for Marie CARTER, 84, of Pocola were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Mallory Funeral Home  Chapel in Spiro, with the Rev. Roy Gene Edge officiating.  Burial was in Dustin Cemetery in Dustin, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro.  Mrs. CARTER was born Oct. 9, 1914, in Tahlequah, to Ely and Martha Jane (ROGERS) TOMLIN. She died Friday, Aug. 13, 1999, in a local nursing home.  Survivors include her husband, James CARTER; two daughters, Margie Rachel and Thursey Jane; two sons, Noble R. and Arthur Paul; 14 grandchildren; three step grandsons; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren Mrs. CARTER was preceded in death by her parents, one stepson, Jimmy Don CARTER; two sisters; three brothers and one grandson.

Funeral services for Alice CLARK, 85, of Spiro were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Murry Spur Free Will Baptist Church, with Revs. Rick Davis and C. L. Thomas officiating.  Burial was in New Hope Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro.  Mrs. CLARK was born June 14, 1914, in Spiro, to James and Rosie (SEBO) MATHIS.  She died Friday, Aug. 13, 1999, in a local nursing home.  Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Wayne; four sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Mary ,  Jr. and Alice, L.B. and Valeria, and Randy and Sherry; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Beulah Ethel CORBIT, 90, of Roland were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Victory Temple Pentecostal Church in Muldrow, with the Revs. Andy O'Neal and Ed O'Neal officiating. Burial was in Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. CORBIT was born April 13, 1909, in Cecil, Ark., to Thomas Fred EUBANKS and Mollie (MILLER) EUBANKS.  She died Friday, Aug. 13, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Lonzo Franklin CORBIT  June 7, 1930, in Roland.  He preceded her in death June 20, 1973.  Survivors include three daughters, Burnadean, Vina Mae, and Linda Faye; four sons, Bill, Johnny Rex , Gerald and Gary; 29 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ora.  Mrs. CORBIT was preceded in death by one daughter, Pauline CUSICK and three sons, Donald Fred CORBIT, James CORBIT and an infant son.  

Graveside services for Mildred J. LESSLEY. 81, of Harrah, formerly of  Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Vernon Smith officiating.  Mrs. LESSLEY was born April 24, 1918, in Sequoyah County, to Fred and Irene (BLACKBURN) STAFFAN.  She died Friday, Aug. 13, 1999, in Harrah.  She married Sam A. LESSLEY Jan. 4, 1936, in Sallisaw.  He preceded her in death June 22, 1999.  Survivors include three sons, Jesse F., ronald L., and Jerry Don; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Auldon, Estelle and Lois; one brother, J. C.; and several nieces and nephews.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Lydia Ruth FERRYMAN, 85, of Sallisaw died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.  She was born Dec. 6, 1913, in Lincoln, Neb., to John and Mary (HOFFMAN) HOFFERBER.  Cremation is under the direction of Mid-South Crematory in Fort Smith.  Survivors include one daughter, Alma; one son, Donald; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  Mrs. FERRYMAN was preceded in death by her husband, Frank FERRYMAN in 1986; and three brothers, Jacob, Harry and Edward HOFFERBER.  Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Funeral services for Elnora H. RIVERS, 62, of Antlers are being held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Fosters' Ivory Chapel in Muskogee.  Burial is in Memorial Park Cemetery, west of Muskogee, under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home in Muskogee.  Ms. RIVERS was born Sept. 5, 1936, in Webbers Falls, to John and Vera (COX) HAMPTON.  She died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, in the Pushmataha County Hospital.  Survivors include one son, Henry Alton; one daughter, Sue Ann; one sister, Shirley; two granddaughters; five nephews;p  two nieces; and many friends and loved ones.  Ms. RIVERS was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Alan RIVERS; and two sisters, Betty TAYLOR and Lorene MURPHY.

Graveside services for Wadie M. WATTS, 56, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 3 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow, with the Rev. Curtis Mitchell officiating.  Mr. WATTS was born Nov. 8, 1942, in Sallisaw, to Raymond Jesse WATTS and Gertrude Marie (WHEAT) WATTS. He died Friday July 30, 1999, in Muldrow. Survivors include three daughters, Tanya, Angelicke and Samantha; two grandchildren; three sisters,  Shirley, Elizabeth "Sam",  and Joyce; and two brothers, Loy and Harold.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Funeral services for Myrtle Resch WEBER, 79, of Roland are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Roland.  Burial is in Hickory Ridge Cemetery, near Lavaca, Ark., under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. WEBER died Monday, August 16, 1999, in Roland.  Survivors include two daughters, Mary and Phyllis; three sisters, Jean, Sue and Nona Lou; two brothers, J. D. and Thomas;p nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  Mrs. WEBER was preceded in death by her husband Curtis RESCH, and one son, Curtis Don RESCH.

Graveside services for Sarah Hazel WOODWARD, 89, of Bixby, formerly of Gore, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Round Mountain Cemetery, west of Gore, with the Rev. Bob West officiating Mrs. WOODWARD  was born Jan. 15, 1910, in Atkins, Ark., to George Walter PATTON and Georgia Lou (WHORTON) PATTON. She died Saturday,  Aug. 14, 1999, in Bixby.  She married Floyd "Bob" WOODWARD  Aug. 28, 1937, in Vian.  he preceded her in death Nov. 19, 1997, in Tulsa.  Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Earl and Patrick O'Bryan; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Tillman and Bryan . Mrs. WOODWARD was also preceded in death by one son, Floyd Wayne WOODWARD; one sister, Mae LANE; and one brother, Riley PATTON.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

CLARK, 83, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 1 p.m. Friday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.  Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of  Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Mr. CLARK died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1999, in Fort Smith.  Survivors include one son, John ; two sisters, Lettie and Beatrice; and one brother, Thomas Nelson.  Mr. CLARK was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia CLARK.

Graveside services for Milton C. PETERS, 84, of Dewey were held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Sallisaw City Cemetery, with Dr. David Flick officiating.  Mr. PETERS was born Sept. 5, 1914, in Sallisaw, to William Albert and Cynthia (PICKINS) PETERS.  He died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1999, at the Medicalodge of Dewey.  He married  Wynoma WALKINGSTICK Oct. 23, 1938, in Wagoner. Survivors include his wife, Wynoma PETERS of the home; one son, Alfred L. ; and one granddaughter. Arrangements were under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville.

Graveside services for Allean Blanche BALDRIDGE, 47, of Vian  are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating.  Mrs. BALDRIDGE  was born Dec. 7, 1951, in Taft Calif., to Tommy and Martha Rebecca (STEFFIE) SOUTHERN.  She died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include one daughter, Janet; two sons, John and Timmy; four grandchildren; two brothers, Orval and Tom; and several nieces nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Joyce SOUTHERN DESHOTELS LEWIS, 55, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the  Rev. Bobby Cothren officiating.  Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. LEWIS was born July 22, 1944, north of Muldrow, to William "Bill" SOUTHERN and Beulah (KING) SOUTHERN.  She died Friday, Aug. 20, 1999, in Muldrow.  Survivors include her husband, Kenneth LEWIS of the home; one daughter, Lisa; two sons,  Jeffrey and Duane; three grandchildren; one sister, Maxine ; three brothers, Gene, Billy,  and Gary; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  

Graveside services for Frances "Frank" R.  NEAL, 92 ,of  Roland   were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Gentry Cemetery in Gentry, Ark., with the Rev. Jay Foley officiating.  Mr. NEAL  was born Jan. 24, 1907, in Van Buren, Ark., to Carl C. NEAL and Ethel (BOLLING) NEAL. He died Friday, Aug. 20, 1999, at Sequoyah East Nursing Center in Roland.  Survivors include one sister, Grace Mae; and special friend Les.  Mr. NEAL  was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann HURLEY NEAL  in 1992.  Arrangements were under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Ark.

Funeral services for Ila OTWELL, 73, of Sallisaw will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Eastside Baptist Church in Sallisaw, with  Rodney Roberson officiating.  Burial will be in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. OTWELL was born April 19, 1926, in Fay, to Seth and Frona (HUMPHREY) McDONALD.  She died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, in a Tulsa hospital. Survivors include her husband, Sherman of the home; one daughter, Cheryl; one son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Donna; two sisters, Shirlene and Josephine; four brothers, Ted, Rrodney, David and Burnis; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.  Mrs. OTWELL was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister, Twila JONES, and one brother, Edgar McDONALD.

Funeral services for Thomas PETTIT, 61, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Monday at House of Praise in Marble City, with Clifton Pettit and Claude Gregory officiating.  Burial was in Peters Cemetery, east of Sallisaw, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. PETTIT was born Aug. 24, 1937, in Claremore, to Jack and Bessie (MICCO) PETTIT.  He died Saturday, Aug. 21, 1999, in a Roland nursing home.  Survivors include two sisters, Jackie and  Lolita; and three brothers, Bill, Calvin and Everett.  Mr. PETTIT was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lizzie DAUGHERTY and Cindy Lou PETTIT.

Funeral services for Norma Lee SOSSAMON, 75,  of Ozark.  Ark., were  held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ozark United Methodist Church with the Rev. Roger Glover officiating.  Burial was in Highland Cemetery in Ozark, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark. Mrs. SOSSAMON was born Sept. 14, 1923, in Clinton, Texas, to Hughie and Effie (OSBURN) ROGERS.  She died Monday, August 23, 1999, at the Fort Smith (Arkansas) Nursing Center.  Survivors include one daughter, Billie Kay; one stepdaughter, Gwen; three stepsons, Bhurle, Bruce and Dennis; and 18 grandchildren. Mrs. SOSSAMON  was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Lester SOSSAMON.

Funeral services for Sandra Kay THOMAS, 55, of Gore were  held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Agent Chapel in Gore, with the Revs. Ronnie Ohl and Jim Murphy officiating.  Burial was in White Cemetery in Gore, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Gore. Mrs. THOMAS was born Nov. 8, 1943, in Morrilton, Ark., to Bill and Erma (LOCKHART) COOK.  She died Friday, Aug. 20, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.  She married James Hiram "Buzz:" THOMAS Jan. 7, 1966, in Santa Maria, Calif.  Survivors include her husband, James, "Buzz" THOMAS  of the home; four daughters, Jamie, Tina, Deanna and Dorrenda; five sons, John, Glendon, Brian, James Jr. and Bill; 23 grandchildren; one sister, Mona; and two brothers, Troy and Ronnie.

Funeral service for Mae HONEYCUTT YOUNG, 90, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Leroy Reid officiating.  Burial is in Marble City Cemetery in Marble City, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. YOUNG was born  Jan. 14, 1909, in Sweetwater, Texas, to Lem and Nola (FARRIS) DORNAN. She died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, in Sallisaw.  She married her first husband,  Richard HONEYCUTT Feb. 25, 1925, in Checotah. She later married W. B. YOUNG.  They both preceded her in death.  Survivors include five daughters, Edith, Nora, Ruth, Irene and Evelyn; four sons, Fred, Charley, Doyle and Richard; 32 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Rhoda; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  Mrs. YOUNG  was also preceded in death by one son, RILEY HONEYCUTT.

Armstrong officiating.  Burial was in White Cemetery in Gore, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls.  Mr. McDONALD was born Sept. 26, 1947, in Carlsbad, N.M.,  to Henry Richard McDONALD and Mearl  "Allen" McDONALD. He died  Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, in Muskogee.  Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Joe and Mary II; one daughter, Misty; his parents, Mearl and Velmer; two brothers, Harold Richard and Carroll "Pee Wee"; one sister, Joy; and one granddaughter.

Memorial services for Jackie Hill TYLER, 58, of Modesto, Calif., formerly of Muldrow, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Maple Free Will Baptist Church, north of Muldrow, with the Rev. Dale Doss officiating.  Mrs. TYLER was born March 19, 1941, in Wichita, Kan., to Arthur and Maggie (Vick) TEAGUE.  She died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1999, in Modesto.  Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law, Steven, Randy and Mary Ann, Darrell and Carol, and J. C. and Pattie; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Eugene, Jim, Charles and Freddie; and four sisters, Faith, Pat, Darlene and Grace.
